Musical style: hardcore

 

  •   october  1994 - the band is set up and is named NECROPHORUS and is composed of : Mădălin Bîrcan-guitar,voice, Ştefan Bonk-bass,voice, Cristian Enea-drums,voice.
  •   april 1995 - their first demmo, “Hope”, is recorded and containing the tracks : Intro; Corvin; Hope; The Angels of War; The Rumour; The Windlass of Time; Phlegm.
  •   the same month the band takes part to the preselection for the Top-T Buzău festival.
  •   september 1995 - “Party Rock Night” at the Youth House of Craiova, where the band performs alongside otherside other bands from Craiova such as: Crack, Avatar, Embalmed, Noxious, Megatrend, Perfectul Simplu, Underground X.
  •   november 1995 - the band performs as part of the G’n R “Fun Club”.
  •   march 1996 - their second demmo, “Mortal Attitude”, is recorded and it contain of 3 tracks : The Lie; ELTA; Mortal Attitude. The last track is concieved and drown up in colaboration with the hip-hop band T.N.T. .
  •   april 1996 - “Underground Show” Craiova, where the band performs alongside the punk bands Terror Art (Craiova), BMG (Craiova), Haos (Timişoara).
  •   june 1996 - “Teenagers Festival” Craiova, the band performs alongside other bands from Craiova, such as : Noxious, Embalmed, Crack, Rebel, Avatar, Underground X, Problems Child. At this festival the band gets the third place.
  •   august 1996 - takes place the merging with the band T.N.T., and the name of the band changes into NECROPHORUS TNT. Now the band is composed of : Ciprian Coandă-voice, Adi Tănase-voice, Mădălin Bîrcan-guitar, Ştefan Bonk-bass,voice, Cristian Enea-drums. Now the style of their music becomes a combination between thrash & hip-hop.
  •   september 1996 - “Metal Fest” Craiova, where the band composed as written above, gets the third place.
  •   march 1997 - one of the members of TNT gives up the colaboration with NECROPHORUS for musical reasons and taste reasons, himself sticking with the hip-hop style, hardcore being extremely aggressive for his taste.
  •   june 1997 - their third demmo, “Obscurity and Decandence”, comes out and contains a variety of musical trends and innovating ideas, a sound with sawper riffs and a pickhammer roaring voice. Tracks : Sabotage; The Jackalls; The Drug; Public Enemy; Mom…; ELTA (remix).
  •   october 1997 - the drummer of the band, Cristian Enea, leaves the band in order to comply the military service.
  •   february 1998 - after the leaving of the drummer the next to leave the band is the basist Ştefan Bonk, as he must also comply the military service.
  •   march 1998 - inside the band the two vacant places are not becoming an issue they are filled by Marius Nicolae-drums and Filip Şerban-bass.
  •   jully 1998 - the band begins the preparation for the recording of their first album, which requires an extreme material and technical effort from the members of the band.
  •   december 1998 - The Student’s House - Craiova ; the band NECROPHORUS TNT performs in the opening of the concert of IRIS. At this event succes is on their side and everyone is impressed with the good quality of the sound of the band.
  •   april 1999 - their first album comes out, entitled “Counterreasons”, containing 9 tracks, with the band formula below : Ciprian Coandă-vocals, Mădălin Bîrcan-guitar, Filip Şerban-bass, Marius Nicolae-drums. The album is relased on the members’ own expenses.

  •   may 1999 - the band begins the preparation and work for a new album. The composition of the band is modified again, as Ştefan Bonk takes back his place inside the band, as a basist.
  •   june 1999 - the vocal of the band, Ciprian Coandă of TNT decides to leave the band in order to devote himself to an older project of  his own, which he wished very much to achieve.
  •   august 1999 - after a short time of seekings of a vocal with a certain experience, the vacant place is finally taken by nobodyelse but the ex-drummer of the band, Cristian Enea, who proved to be the right person in the right place.
  •   september 1999 - the name of the band changes back to NECROPHORUS and the band is composed of : Cristian Enea-vocals, Mădălin Bîrcan-guitar,vocals, Ştefan Bonk-bass, Marius Nicolae-drums.
  •   october 1999 - is recorded on CD a track which would be comprised in the next album of the band, “Smuggled truth”. The band hopes to take part with this track to some radio and TV stations or to some festivals. The lyrics have a new resonance and a strong social nature, the aggressive sound reflects the sorry phlight that the people faces nowadays.
  •   january 2000 - the band begins to work for the next album.
  •   march 2000 - the basist Ştefan Bonk retires from the band, as he gets married and sets up a family of his own.
  •   april 2000 - the vacant place is shortly taken by young Răzvan Niculescu who also contributed to the recording of this album.
  •   august 2000 - after long tergiversations till the completing of the album, such as “playing the agent” by a person who tangled the good unfolding of the processing and launching of the album, finally is released the definitive stencil CD which is recorded in the band is own studio.
  •   september 2000 - the launching of the album “Regress in disaster”.
  •   october 2000 - “Regress in disaster” contains 15 tracks and is released at the band’s own expenses, same as the first album.

    •  october 2000 - the band enlarges with a new member in the person of Toni Chiazna and the melodic style of the band gets better because of the keyboards, which grants the sound a harmonious leansleness.
    •   december 2000 - “NECROPHORUS NIGHT LIVE” - the band organize a concert at the Youth House from Craiova to promote  two young bands from Craiova, PROTEUM and TORNADO. The band performs new tracks in which the keyboards get the leading  part. Track are : Nobody’s country, Homeland, Nobody cares, Rapattack, Overdose, Freedom, A rebel without a cause, Indian summer (cover), Blood stained pyre. The tracks would come out on the next material of NECROPHORUS. Composition : Cristian Enea-vocals, Mădălin Bîrcan-guitar,vocals, Răzvan Niculescu-bass, Toni Chiazna-keyb., Marius Nicolae-drums.
    •   may 2001 - “Top-T” Buzău - NECROPHORUS takes part to the rock festival in Buzău, where the band becomes conspicuous even at the preselection with the material they had sent. On the stage the band faced the black and gothic bands which were present at the festival.
    •   july 2001 - the band gets into the studio to record 4 new tracks.
    •   september 2001 - the demmo “Conflict and hate” comes out. It contains 6 tracks, of which 2 are mixed : Nobody cares, Free will, Blood stained pyre, Without you, Free will (studmix), Conflict and hate (mix).
    •   october 2001 - “Turris Metal Night” - NECROPHORUS performs at the Turnu Măgurele festival and leaves a good impressions on current hardcore.
    •   october 2001 - “Craiova’s Days” - the band is invited to perform in the center of the city in the opening of the concert of IRIS.
    •   november 2001 - the composition of the band changes again, instead of the basist Răzvan Niculescu is coopted one of the older upholders of the bands rather one of the basists that the band should have started with, nobodyelse but Dan Mitroi.
    •   december 2001 - the band takes part to the local festival “Rock Folk Jazz”, where its participation had been  initialy refused because of absurd reasons.
    •   april 2002 - the keyboards player, Toni Chiazna, gives up being a member of the band because of family reasons.
    •   may 2002 - “Top-T” Buzău - NECROPHORUS performs the second day of the festival. In the lack of their fans from Craiova, the band enjoys the support of other fans from Balş, Buzău, Braşov, who were present at this event.
    •   june 2002 - “Maximum Underground Alexandria” - the band is invited to perform in a concert alongside band like : SCLEROZA, SCHTEPHAN, INSEPULTUS. Because of the demurrage, the lack of fans, the bad editing, everything proved to be a total fiasco, the band managing however to impress by their way of performing, their stage acting and the dialogue with the little public present at the show.
    •   august 2002 - because of obvious reasons, actually the brutal name which confuses the listener, the band shortens the name from NECROPHORUS to NPH.
    •   november 2002 - the band begins the rehearsal for the recording of a new album that would come out in the summer of 2003, in a new varaiant, without keyboards, with an acid sound and harsh lyrics which hunt first at the internationa political demagogy.
    •   november 2002 - the band takes part to the local festival “Rock Folk Jazz”.
    •   february 2003 - NPH performs in CLUB A in Bucharest alongside the bands CRIZE, ROCK’N GHENĂ, CRI-GRI.
    •   march 2003 - a new material is recorded, which would be the fourth album of the band and is entitled “Post-Mortem Homologated”.
    •   may 2003 - the band participates at the “Top-T” Buzău preselection. The band passes this phase, it’s participation is confirmed, but for unknown reasons the band doesn’t show up in the program of the festival.
    • november 2003 - instead of the basist Dan Mitroi is coopted Andru Lamasz, a real and very good bass player.
    • march 2004 - ” Alternative Competition - Club A & MTv ” NPH performs in CLUB A in Bucharest alongside the bands ORANJ and eQm. The track “Leaves of gold” is filmed by MTV at the show in Club A and it is broadcasted in the TV show “Alternative Nation” on MTV Romania.
    • september 2004–LP “Post-Mortem Homologated” is finally released on the underground market, alas self-produced just like the albums before it.
    • october 2004since the release of the first series of cds NPH is supported by people with initiative  for the distribution of the album, even though these people are not professional staff they involve themselves in promoting the band at national scale.
    • november 2004 - NPH is invited to perform at Underworld, a club in Bucharest, but because of some rumours invented by certain narrowminded persons with preconcieved ideas, the image of the band is damaged and that is the reason why the owners of the club give up the collaborationb with NPH.
    • february 2005in an interview on the site Metalfan NPH explaines that those rumours concerning the ideas of the band were totaly wrong , just malicious lies.
    • march 2005 – because of the busy schedule of the members of the band and the “cold” availability of a local organizer the band is refused countless times to perform in its own city, because NPH didn’t respond when the mentioned organizer lacked bands to carry on with his “cultural” programme.
    • april 2005 – the band works at  some new tracks for the next album, in a much mor agressive manner, both instrumental and lyrics for a sound more like trash.
    • may 2005 – NPH participates to the preselection for the TOP T Buzau fest, as an year ago- in 2004-it was an aniversary edition of this fest and NPH did not send a promo or announced the intention to perform there, this year – 2005 – NPH is trying to celebrate the tenth aniversary in the special athmosphere of the TOP T fest, but unhappilly it’s participation is refused because of the lack of a good score.
    • september 2005 -  Metalhead- Live in Viking- NPH comes back to Bucharest after a long period of inaction. At this event NPH has the chance to prove its true value in a 100% live performance, 100% incendiary, performing new tracks, in a hardcore metal style with thrash influences at some passages. In here NPH was given the chance to celebrate the 10 years of activity.
    • may 2006 - Bucharest Metal Nights 4 – after two conerts were cancelled, of which one should have deployed with EKTOMORF from Hungary and LOCOMOTIVE from the Czech Republic and the second concert with SEPSIS and ABNORMIN DEFFECT from The Republic of Moldavia, NPH is offerd the participation to the 4th edition of the festival Bucharest Metal Nights. NPH patricipates alongside NEXUS, INTERITUS DEI, L.O.S.T., PSYCHO SYMPHONY and TAINE.
    • november 2006MetalheadLive in Utopia – NPH is the special guest at the release of the album “I Can’t Find A Question To Survive The Answer” of the band PROTEST URBAN.After a pretty big brake of concerts NPH shows in their specific hardcore manner a crazy desire for singing and delighting new eyes and ears of the people present that night in  the club Utopia.
