
	<<back The genre „ĂIA” bandapproaches is melodic hard rock, having an album released: „*Primul pas” (The First Step). The band’shistory begins in 1992, when Sebi (bass guitar) and Iulian (drums)* were playing in SEISM band. Following a concert in a club from Braşov, the two met Zoli (vocal) who was playing in ARZENAL band. Both bands were going to brake up two years later, due to financial reasons. In 2001, the three met by chance, founding a new band. The first meetings were simply opportunities to let out a bit of the steam they gathered during the day, and did not meet in order to make themselves known on the vernacular rock market. In 2002, the need of a second guitar leads to the bringing into of a new memberSile (harmonic guitar). The band found an adequate rehearsal place at Clubul Elevilor from Săcele, where they met Levi (vocal) and Adi (fingerboard), Zoli passing at the same time from vocal to solo guitar. In 2002, they have been invited to play within an event organized by the club where they were rehearsing, having therefore to find a name. The name „ĂIA” came up naturally, the band wanting to dissociate from all the other bands. From 2005, with the PR change, (Adrian Cioiu – manager si Mircea Valean manager/media contact), their style changes also, lining up with hard-rock.
